About SiiPet
Who is SiiPet?
SiiPet brings together experts from the fields of veterinary science, artificial intelligence, and pet care product design. We are a team of devoted pet lovers.
We realized that the root problem in pet healthcare lies in information asymmetry. Pet owners struggle to describe symptoms precisely, vets face challenges in making quick, accurate diagnoses, and our pets endure their discomfort in silence, the helplessness of watching a beloved cat fall ill without clear warning signs.
This frustration with the information gap between pets and their owners ignited a mission: to translate silent behaviors into actionable health insights.
This technological expertise is now channeled into developing SiiPet's intelligent pet health monitoring ecosystem, making proactive, data-driven pet care accessible to all.
Why choose Siipet?
Currently, most products in the pet tech market focus on singular aspects like basic activity tracking or simple video monitoring. They often lack the deep, health-specific analysis required to truly understand a pet's well-being. Siipet was founded to bridge this critical gap by pioneering two core technological pillars:
First, we move beyond simple tracking. By fusing data from custom optical sensors with AI, we don't just record events—we analyze and interpret them. Our systems are trained to detect subtle, pre-clinical signs of common but serious conditions providing early warnings long before symptoms become obvious.
Second, we believe isolated data points are of limited value. Unlike single-function devices, Siipet is building an integrated health management platform. Our products, starting with LitterLens and PawTrack, work together to create a comprehensive health timeline for your pet. This empowers owners with a complete picture and provides veterinarians with actionable, long-term data, significantly reducing the risk of misdiagnosis and enabling truly informed care decisions.

About LiiterLens
What stool anomalies are detected?
The app flags stool events that look unusual based on two categories:
- Shape: hard pellets, pudding-like/soft, watery/diarrhea.
- Color: black/tarry, bright red, gray, green, orange-yellow.
When an anomaly is detected, it appears on the Event Timeline for easy review (with photo/time).
Important: Results are for information only and not a medical diagnosis. Lighting, food, and camera angles can affect appearance.
What should I do next?
- Check the litter box directly to confirm.
- Save/export the record if needed (e.g., Daily View).
- If you’re concerned, consult a licensed veterinarian promptly and follow their professional instructions.
- If your pet shows emergency signs (e.g., repeated watery stool, visible blood, severe lethargy), seek veterinary care immediately.
Will this work with an automatic litter box?
Yes. Its compact size makes it compatible with most common litter boxes, including automatic, enclosed, and open ones.
If I have multiple litter boxes, can the data sync across devices?
Yes. The system uses visual ID to accurately track each cat's activity across different boxes, organizing all the data in one place. It's perfect for households with multiple cats.
How long does the battery last? Can it be used while charging?
Yes—two ways to power the device:
- Plugged-in (recommended): The camera works continuously while charging. This is ideal for multi-cat homes, frequent visits, or long Live View.
- Battery only: About 1 month per charge under typical use.
Actual runtime varies with:
- Number of pets & daily visits
- Wake/recording time per visit & Live View usage
- Frequent recording in low-light environments or Night View.
- Alert frequence
- Wi-Fi strength (weak signals drain more) and ambient temperature
Will night monitoring disturb my cat?
In low light, the device uses a soft nightlight designed not to disturb cats.
Can I share my device with families or friends? How can I share?
Yes. You can invite up to 5 family members to view your pet’s videos and photos anytime.
Steps:
- Open the app → Me → Device Sharing
- Tap + Invite
- Copy the link in Your invitation link has been created, and send it to your family/friends.
- The link shows "The link will expire … (date & time)”. If it expires, just create a new one.
- Ask the recipient to install SiiPet and sign in / create an account, then open the link and accept.
How can I view older video history?
Free users can only access the most recent 72 hours of video stored locally. If you’d like to view earlier footage, please upgrade to a membership plan:
- Basic Plan: Keeps up to 1 month of continuous video storage and allows access to 3 months of abnormal event videos.
- Premium Plan: Keeps up to 1 month of continuous video storage and allows access to 12 months of abnormal event videos.
After upgrading, you can check older videos anytime in the Event Playback or Daily Paws / History Events section in the App.
What’s the difference between local storage and SiiPet Care+ cloud?
- Local (on device): Short rolling buffer (e.g., ~72h). When full, the oldest clips auto-overwrite.
- Cloud (Care+): Event videos kept up to 1 month rolling; Abnormal records/Analysis kept 3 months (Basic) or 12 months (Premium).
Manage plan: Me → SiiPet Care+.
What is the single most important step for a successful setup?
Placement. The #1 most critical factor is ensuring that the LitterLens camera
- is within close distance to the litter box
- has a full, unobstructed view of the entire litter surface.
This clear view is essential for the AI to accurately track your cat's health signals.
How do I know if I've positioned the camera correctly?
After setup, check the live view in "Real-time" on the homepage and manually adjust the angle of the camera.
Make sure that the litter box is at the bottom of the view and the entire litter area is visible.
Which litter boxes are compatible, and where should I install the camera?
LitterLens is designed for flexibility. Here’s how to get the best placement for your box type:
- Standard Boxes (Open-top, Enclosed/Hooded): You have two options: mount it on a flat outer side of the litter box or on an adjacent wall. Use the "Live View" in the app to find the perfect angle that sees the entire litter area.
- Automatic (Smart) Boxes: Compatibility depends entirely on finding a suitable mounting spot. You can mount it on a flat inner wall of the cabin only if you can find a spot that meets these four rules:
#1 It is a flat surface for the adhesive.
#2 It does NOT obstruct any moving parts (like rakes or a rotating globe).
#3 It does NOT block your cat's access.
#4 It allows a full, clear view of the entire litter area.
If no spot inside your smart litter box meets all four of these requirements, it is not compatible.
